December is Career Exploration and Awareness Month

December 15, 2022

Career Exploration & Awareness Month shines a spotlight on discovering the career pathways available to Wyoming residents and the employment, training and educational opportunities that come with them. The BOOTS platform can help navigate the education, career, and business tools available in Wyoming. There are multiple pathways to better careers: training certificates, degrees, stackable credentials, apprenticeships and more. Additionally, DWS’s Employment and Training Division helps to build a workforce to meet the changing demands of Wyoming’s diverse businesses, and its Business Training and Support Unit works directly with Wyoming businesses, colleges, economic development agencies and community partners across the state. In addition, the free Wyoming Grown program connects individuals who have a desire to return home to Wyoming with in-demand career opportunities throughout the state.
