Etna Trading Company is coming up on its’ 100 year anniversary of being a family owned and operated business.
Teresa Anderson, current owner of Etna Trading Company (ETC), along with her husband Brett, said they fulfill ETC’s logo of being a family business by having their two daughters work at the store.
She said there are other families who have multiple siblings or parents working with them as well.
“[Our customers love] that we are a family business,” Anderson said. “[They love] how we get to know them and care about the things they care about.”
Not only does the ETC show they care about their customers through their words, but also through their services.
The ETC provides a vast range of services. These include a full service post office, Wyoming lottery, Wyoming game and fish licenses, ORV and snowmobile tags, full service coffee bar with lattes, take and bake pizzas made fresh daily, hot sandwiches, chili, smoothies, and their recently added milkshakes.
The ETC is also a huge support to Star Valley by donating to several local businesses and organizations. These include AZAR House Pregnancy, Lucky’s BBQ, Thayne Fires Golf Tournament, Salt River Community Foundation, Star Valley Quilt Trail, Coins for Cami, and on a personal note, to one of their employee’s mission work with Youth with a Mission (YWAM).
